The National Hispana Leadership Institute will Hold its Latina Empowerment Conference Featuring Regional Leaders and Professionals on March 26, Online Registration Available Now
(Washington, DC) The National Hispana Leadership Institute (NHLI), the premier leadership organization for Latinas, has selected Charlotte, North Carolina to hold its first Latina Empowerment Conference of 2010 on Friday, March 26 from 8 to 4 pm.
Latina Empowerment Conferences convene hundreds of regional leaders and professionals for a day of leadership training; professional development opportunities that help Latinas with career advancement; peer to peer learning through an interactive panel of successful Latina leaders; networking, and employment connections.

The Latina Empowerment Conference series is made possible with the support of title sponsor, State Farm® Insurance Companies. The conferences will continue in Ft. Worth, TX, April 22; New York, NY, May 20; Denver, CO, June 4 and will conclude in Portland, OR, August 13.
NHLI also offers the Latinas Learning to Lead program for young Latinas (17-22 years) enrolled in college, applications available until March 26; the Executive Leadership Program (for mid-career professionals); an annual Executive Leadership Training Conference and Mujer Awards (Miami, FL November 4-5), and online training seminars. In 2010, NHLI will launch ALL IN (Advancing Latina Leaders in Nonprofits) a new program which seeks to cultivate, promote and sustain emerging leaders, Latinas 24-34 years of age who work in the nonprofit sector..
