Award-Winning Speaker to Headline the National Hispana Leadership Institute’s
Renowned Latina Empowerment Conferences

(Washington, DC) Gina Amaro Rudan, President of Genuine Insights and 2009 March of Dimes Woman Living to the Fullest Award, has been selected as headline speaker for the National Hispana Leadership Institute’s Latina Empowerment Conference series starting March 26 in Charlotte, NC.

The National Hispana Leadership Institute (NHLI) is the premier executive leadership organization preparing Latinas for positions of national and international influence, public policy impact and to contribute to the advancement of the Hispanic community.

Sponsored by State Farm® Insurance Companies, Latina Empowerment Conferences convene hundreds of regional leaders and professionals for a day of leadership training; professional development opportunities that help Latinas with career advancement; peer to peer learning through an interactive panel of successful Latina leaders; networking, and employment connections.

Rudan will present her signature Igniting Your Practical Genius workshop in Charlotte, NC, March 26, Ft. Worth, TX, April 22; New York, NY, May 20; Denver, CO, June 4 and Portland, OR, August 13.

Igniting Your Practical Genius aims to help Latinas working in the public and private sectors to identify, express and market their unique, instinctive genius. “Many consider genius to be a gift, a lightning bolt from the gods that strikes folks like Einstein or Mozart but not the rest of us. Not true! I believe every one of us has a capacity for genius—a unique, instinctive, everyday genius that is waiting to be unleashed on our own lives. The bottom line is this: More Latinas need to maximize their A-game so they can help fill the leadership gap in the United States and around the world. Practical Genius will help them do it,” said Rudan.

As president of Genuine Insights, Rudan provides global personal asset management practice in three core areas: leadership development, personal asset management and personal branding, whose mission is to leverage the genius within every individual.

“With Latinos being the fastest growing population group in the country, Latinas need to become a more visible and powerful voice in the national conversation and more prominent in the leadership pipeline. The dearth of women and Latina voices robs the public discourse of a valuable perspective,” said Cristina López, NHLI’s President. “We are thrilled to have Gina Rudan join our Latina Empowerment Conference series. She brings motivation, insights and the kind of leadership needed to inspire women to fulfill their potentials and be greater contributors to their communities,” added López.

A high-impact speaker, blogger and strategist with a passion to inspire genius, Rudan has been a guest lecturer and keynote speaker for numerous organizations including: Merck Co, BET Network, the Interpublic Group, The US Department of Agriculture, the Stern School of Business at New York University, and for Fannie Mae.

Just recently, Rudan became a curator of TEDx MIA, an independent movement to spread genius in southern Florida affiliated with TED.com
