Presenter’s Bio:

Mike Kessler
Director of Human Resources, Fannie Mae
Mike has twenty-two years of experience in the human resources profession. He joined Fannie Mae as a director within Human Resources in June of 2008 after a thirteen year career with the American Red Cross where he progressed to the position of Senior Director, Human Capital. Mike’s recent HR areas of accountability have included recruiting leadership, human resources policies and procedures, human capital performance metrics, equal employment opportunity, relocation services, legal compliance and immigration services.
Prior to his tenure with the American Red Cross, Mike worked for Nestle Foods in human resources management and for the African Virtual University (World Bank) where he managed their Business and Technology satellite-based distance learning programs.
Mike has made contributions to the human resources profession through his affiliation with the Society for Human Resources Management and he is currently certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). Mike received his M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from George Mason University and B.B.A from James Madison University.
