Health Care Reform: What it means to Women and Latinos
Wednesday, October 28 @ 1pm eastern
Sponsored and facilitated by AARP, the webinar focused on the implications of health care reform for women and Latinos. On the heels of recent developments in Congress and with misinformation circulating rampantly, NHLI and AARP provided information to clarify some of those myths and addressed questions from community members about health care reform.
The interactive platform allowed attendees to ask questions and to become better informed on the reform proposals being considered in Congress.
The webinar was presented by Nora Super, Director of Federal Government Relations, Health and Long-Term Care at AARP. Nora Super has more than 20 years of experience working in Washington, DC with a notable background in a wide range of health policy issues, including Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, ERISA, and other federal and state health programs. Having worked in academia and in the private sector, she brings invaluable knowledge and experience to Health Care Reform: What it Means to Women and Latinos.
